Junior Front End WordPress Developer / Freelancer (2021 - 2022)
I landed my first web development career in 2021 at Extanet Inc. My position was as a junior front-end WordPress developer. I can say that web development is not easy, especially when you are new to it. My main task was to implement the content of the site from PSD files, such as images and text, and then convert it into WordPress content. The client also assigned me Shopify tasks, which involved similar front-end work. During my front-end journey, I was able to learn CSS3; I now know how to use selectors, properties, and apply them to mobile responsive issues, and I continue to master it. As of now, I am in the process of learning JavaScript, which is more complex for me in terms of front-end tasks. I am very thankful to my first company in web development, Extanet Inc., because I was able to experience what web development really is. I can say that I am still far from mastering all the skills needed in a front-end career, but I am continuously pushing myself to learn.
My Web Quality Quality Assurance / Onpage SEO Experience
My first experience with on-page SEO was at White Label 2014 Services Inc. I was hired on March 1, 2023. It was a great experience during which I developed my on-page SEO skills. Our daily tasks involved handling multiple sites from staging to deployment. When the site was ready for audit, our first step was to check the user interface to ensure that the content was responsive on all devices. After assessing the user interface, we conducted on-page technical audits, including checking site performance, meta titles, meta descriptions, page speed, and other on-page factors.
My WordPress Virtual / SEO Assistant Experience
During my time at Domain Bird, I was involved in a variety of tasks related to SEO and website management. This included helping to develop SEO strategies, checking websites for any issues, and making sure they worked properly. I also worked with content creators and web developers to improve SEO practices and fix any design problems. Using special tools, I checked how well websites were doing and made sure their titles and descriptions were effective. I also helped creating blog titles main keywords,seed keywords and made sure that it has a good search volume. Additionally, I assisted with basic website tasks in WordPress, like adding pages and content. I handled customer support tickets and helped with online orders for restaurants. Sometimes, I also handled administrative tasks and communicated with our suppliers. Lastly, I helped publish blog posts and fixed front end issues using css3 with in our WordPress websites.
